WagerShare is the casino affiliate program that represents the largest online casino concern, Palace Group, which operates a number of online gaming brands that include Piggs Casino, Jackpots in a flash, Mummys Gold, Ruby Fortune, Spin Palace and Cabaret Club casinos in addition Dream Bingo. The program recently acquired the BetWay online casino, sportsbook and poker and along with the GNUF brands for casino and poker.
Established in 2001, the program’s casinos brands are powered by Microgaming software which is known for having the biggest range of the latest gaming action. WagerShare has grown much larger since their launching, and they now boast of acquisitions into bingo, sports betting and poker rooms as well as covering all the main wagering verticals that also includes mobile casino. The program covers most global markets with the exception of France and the United States.
However, a good number of affiliates have complained of an unusually high number of their player accounts getting locked out, while WagerShare keeps a large portion of the affiliate payments because of a quota terms for referring a minimum number of players which was implemented retroactively. Additionally, there have been several complaints regarding cash-out delays as well as unreasonable cash-out limits.
Affiliates Commissions
All new affiliate members of the WagerShare affiliates program are enrolled to the revenue share model which pays out a generous starting rate of 50% for the first month. After the first month, percentage payouts will be based on the net revenue affiliates’ players generate for the Palace Group casino brands. The way this model works is through a three-tiered structure whereby, members will earn 25% for up to ten players referred, which can be upped to 40% for up to a hundred players recruited. As such, affiliate members who can achieve greater net revenue tiers within a month by recruiting more players will be paid a higher percentage.
Should an affiliate be unable to refer new players to the casinos in 6 months, their commission profits will suffer a 5% drop. This basically means the affiliate’s earning will drop to 20% for the lower tier, which is based on past referrals. However, the return percentage will naturally increase as soon as the affiliate’s player quota is back on the upward curve.
Affiliates may also opt for the CPA [Cost Per Acquisition] commission model plan which pays a flat rate for every qualifying player referred to the casino brands. However, the amounts paid will vary by the market and product. Members who are interested will have to discuss the modalities of the CPA model with the support team. The program has a no negative rollover policy which means affiliates start at zero on the first day of the following month. Moreover, there is no bundling policy either.
Sub-affiliation
Besides referring and marketing to potential online players, affiliate members in the WagerShare program are allowed to refer webmasters and website owners who operate functional websites to recruit players to the second tier sub-affiliates program. Affiliates who refer sub-affiliates get to boost their monthly earnings with a 2% commission payout. This percentage commission comes out of the revenues sub-affiliates have brought to the table.
Affiliate Payouts
Commission payments from WagerShare are all processed in the first 10 days of every month, though payments via wire transfer and check may take a longer time. Affiliate members have a choice of payment methods with which to receive their commissions and these include Check, Bank wire transfer, Neteller, Pay Spark, EcoPayz, WebMoney, ACH and Skrill.
The default currencies when paying commissions include the Euros, US dollars, and the Sterling pound, among other currencies. Payments must meet a minimum balance of €/$/£100 for E-wallet payments and €/$/£700 for bank wire transfers. Balance payouts may carry over from one month to the other which means affiliates will only receive their payment once they have hit the stated threshold.
Software Used
The WagerShare Affiliates program employs its own proprietary software platform which provides its affiliates with a backend that hosts the latest of marketing tools, a language tool bar as well as statistics for the current month showing depositing players, signups, downloads and earnings lists. The statistics tab offers all the casino brands in a grid plus other basic information so members are able to analyze their work in order to be more effective.
